Pregnancy Update

20 weeks

Things have been going great with this pregnancy. I wasn't as sick for as long at the beginning and second trimester was easy. Im one of those weird ones who like to be pregnant I guess. Well until the hip and pelvic pain start and then I start to feel less than good :) It has gone faster than with Cade thats for sure. I cant believe Im already 30 weeks. So 10 or less to go. I know Im getting closer because Im feeling more ready. A few months ago a few people were having their babies that I knew I remember feeling so excited for them but thinking man Im sure glad thats not me right now haha but Im feeling more prepared for the challenge of labor again and having two littles one around here. I think also pregnancy does a wonderful job at the end of making you NOT want to be pregnant anymore, so having a baby starts to sound better and better.

I cant wait to meet my little boy. Its so exciting. I know more of the hard challenging parts this time around but I know also more the amazing amount of love that grows for them too. Even though its still 2 months away, this time will go fast and it will come before I know it. So for now Im enjoying Cade's 12 hours of sleep at night and Im definitely enjoying the luxury of sleep and relaxation while I can.

Cade's Room Redone

Brice and I had a fun time planning, budgeting, and working together on our boys' room.  We wanted to turn Cade's nursery into a room that is boyish, more mature, and good for both boys. This is what it looked like before.  

Yellow and brown owl theme

Here it is now. Gray, white, royal blue, and red airplane/travel theme.  I made the bed skirt and teething bummer pad and spray painted the lamp shade to make it white. The two pictures are of Cade's 1 year old pictures. One of him is him with two suit cases. 

Dresser and drapes from Ikea. Planes from Hobby Lobby for 50 precent off.  I love that the window lets in so much light during the day and for naps and bed time Brice put in a roll down blackout shade. Before all we had was a blanket so it makes it so much easier and nicer. 

Bedding from a place online. Bed from KSL. Luggage toy organizer from Ikea and spice rack made into a book shelf from there too. I love that Brice and I found a map and cut it up to put in this frame and in the two little frames by the dresser. 

We used the map to cover these letters too. Brice did them and I think they turned out perfect. 

So thats it. We had fun doing it. I think its our favorite room in the house now. We love to sit in it and admire our work :)

Fourth of July 2013

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!! We had some great plans for the day but poor Brice got sick and it ended up being a lazy day at home. We did manage to get out of the house in the morning before Brice really realized he was feeling sick to go on a little hike up Yellowfork Canyon in Herriman. Cade loved the dirt!

Fun Family Visit

In June, Brice's family came up to visit us. We had a great time relaxing, eating, and walking around Riverwoods mall.  We let Cade play in the water there and he was in heaven!

Daddy Daughter Colorado Trip 2013

Cade and I flew up to Colorado to have a fun trip with my sister Amanda and Dad. We had a great time and Amanda did an amazing job planning so many fun activities. We loved seeing Amanda and Cameron's new house in Colorado Springs and seeing all the beautiful, fun places around there. I thought Colorado was beautiful and wouldn't mind living there one bit! I am so glad we did this trip and hope we can keep it up through the years. (PS Sorry for the overload of pics. It was hard to narrow down to only a few:)

I wish I could remember where this was. But it was a place to walk around with lots of shops and interesting people playing music and doing artsy things. There was this girl who looked like a statue and she would stay still until someone would give her money and she would do move and smile at you.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy!! He is one hard working, loving, fun dad and we feel so blessed. He is an example of a true man in every way and I am so happy our children have that example. We love you!!!!!

One of Brice's presents I made for him. I also made him a collage of pics of Cade and me and put them in a frame for work and gave him some of his favorite treats. Oh and breakfast in bed too of course! ha 

Hike in Provo

I love when we get to do fun things as a family! One day we decided to go down to Provo to go the farmer's market and a little hike/walk. We bought this amazing salsa from the farmer's market and picked up some chips for our picnic. After we went up to Bridal Veil falls. Cade loved the water and it was so awesome to walk up the trail and enjoy the beautiful green together.
