what a blessing playgroup has been! i have met some amazing woman that i have already learned so much from and the cutest little kids. i love using a little of my teaching skills too to prepare a lesson. and cade loves watching and smiling at his new friends and even getting to do some of the activities.
this week i was in charge so i decided to read a fun story called turkey trouble about a turkey that tried to disguise himself as all these different animals to try and not be eaten for thanksgiving. in the end he dresses up as a pizza guy and delivers pizza to the farmer. it reminded me of teaching second grade and every year i would have the kids write a fiction story about how the turkey didnt become thanksgiving dinner. its super cute and the kids liked it.
after we made turkey puppets. heres the one cade made. ok.. i made for him :) but it really is his hand i traced.
here are some adorable pictures of cade and some of his friends. as i was going through them trying to decide which ones to post, i couldnt decide because each one is soo cute in its own way. when cade woke up from his nap today, the glow on cade and these two girls faces was so precious. they waved at him and gave him a kiss. these girls are so sweet and loving and cade loves them!
